My client is a leading search firm, specialising in senior executive appointments for retail and leisure clients throughout the UK and internationally. They have the ability to deliver a comprehensive solution extending from short-term interim appointments to Board and senior executive placements, as well as retail’s future leaders.
One of the directors here is looking for a Researcher/Associate to effectively work as their right hand person. This is an excellent opportunity to be mentored and to work closely to someone with a great name in Consumer & Retail with a strong focus on Fashion.
Examples of projects that this hire will support on include the Global Womenswear Director for major retailers, roles with New Look, TM Lewin, Pentland Group. Places directors, MDs and CEOs on packages between £200 and £600k so big deals. This hire will support the director with the goal of increasing billings to £1million.
The ideal hire will have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working in a research capacity or a good contingent recruiter that can move into this space. This is very much a hybrid role and needs someone who can headhunt candidates, help set up events, support the business development, be good in front of clients, perhaps handle some of the junior roles once they have enough experience. Can be given as much or as little responsibility as they need but need to be intelligent, driven, good attention to detail, excellent written work and understand what search is and the value it can provide.
