My client is a leading global Corporate Governance Recruitment specialist with offices across Asia, EMEA and North America. They are looking for a Permanent Cyber/Information Security Recruitment Consultant/Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their permanent security division within their financial services – a highly profitable division regarded as a market leader in the UK. Financial services has remained a core pillar of the client’s business and is a key part of the security division.
As a Recruitment Consultant working in this area you will work with a wide range of clients from global banking groups through to niche asset managers, fintech and insurance, however still have plenty of room to grow. You will place candidates from Analyst through to Managing Director and Global Heads of Department. You will be responsible for contributing to growth by seeking out new clients and revenue streams, and at the same time focussing on delivery to existing clients and PSLs.
You will become a recognised specialist security recruiter within the FS industry, with the aim of becoming a well networked subject matter expert. You will ensure you keep abreast of security trends, high profile breaches and emerging threats through your network, media outlets and attending security industry evens and conferences.
The ideal candidate must have IT recruitment experience. Knowledge of security is highly advantageous but not required, however an interest in security is a prerequisite. You must be able to demonstrate proven ability of managing clients, and servicing multiple roles in a busy area, along with a successful track record of developing new business. A consultative, sales mentality with an appreciation of high volume output both in phone calls and meetings is essential. You will also need a strong work ethic with the desire to grow revenue streams, market knowledge, and your network within the security community.
