My client is a Board and C-level executive search and networking firm. The business is a trusted advisor to global digital pure-plays, hyper-growth companies and their venture capital and private equity investors, as well as traditional groups embracing the digital world.
They are hiring an Events Executive to work with their Head of Engagement to champion their busy annual events programme in London and across Europe.
Day to day, this person will conduct market research to inform guest lists, will work closely with the senior members of the business to understand industry trends, will liaise with external stakeholders (vendors, event attendees, sponsors) and will lead the curation of event-based content to publish on our social media channels.
They will own large parts of the event production, from guest list curation to arranging appropriate meetings and seating for sponsors, through to ensuring the video production runs smoothly on the night as well as creating post-event content.
The longer-term scope of this role will involve greater ownership of the end-to-end event production, travel to European cities to host events, attending external events to gain market knowledge, as well as continually seeking to improve our events to remain the industry-leading programme.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years previous experience working in events planning and be able to work under pressure, at pace and cope with shifting priorities. Ideally, this hire will come from a Digital or Technology sector and be passionate about these sectors. Naturally, the hire will be a great communicator; both verbally and written.
This role will pay a basic salary between £28,000 to £30,000 with an annual bonus or 20%. 25 Days annual leave. Other benefits include Private Medical Insurance, Pension scheme, Cash plan and team socials amongst many others.
