I am working with a large recruitment business in London who specialise in Office Support, Accounting and Finance and Information Technology. They are looking for an MD to work closely with the Board and continue the growth and trajectory to becoming the leading recruitment business within their focus areas.
This MD role is in charge of the London operations and have complete strategic control of London 40% of operations) which is 50 consultants across 9 sales team. There is 9 management reports so there is a huge opportunity for scaling these teams up. The MD will oversea 6 million in fees in a 20 million turnover business.
This client have recently transitioned from a geographic focus to a sector specific teams, currently have a team doing legal, a team doing property, a team doing NFP etc. these teams focus on IT, Office Support or Finance there is opportunity to develop these teams so that they are working on other areas, this MD would help develop and expand these teams into sector specific leaders.
They have also launched two separate brands within high niche, high growth areas and this hire would also have the opportunity to work closely with and develop these brands.
They are looking for someone who has a vision for London, that can see the opportunity to scale these teams, see the opportunity to develop out the teams and who is enthusiastic and wants to shape the business. This person is likely to be a recruitment professional who is looking to make a jump, someone who is an ops director, an associate director or a director depending on the business. Someone who is a couple of years away from a MD position now. This individual will have ideas and will receive the full support from the business, they will be remunerated 160-180k all in with the opportunity to join the board and potential equity.
