My client is a leading global Corporate Governance Recruitment specialist with offices across Asia, EMEA and North America. They are looking for a senior Recruitment Consultant to join their hugely successful Risk Recruitment team. They have one of the City’s most established Risk Recruitment divisions with a proven track record across all functions of Risk Management (Market, Liquidity, Operational and Credit Risk). They are well networked with the majority of the financial institutions in London and have an average of 10 years’ experience recruiting in their field.
The role of senior Risk Recruitment Consultant will involve networking the Risk market, headhunting relevant candidates, staying in touch with your candidate base and conducting regular interviews with Risk specialists. The team are in a fortunate position where they can give you clients to work with from the outset. You will be expected to introduce yourself to these clients at organised client meetings representing yourself and the wider team as a preferred supplier of the business. You will also be tasked with developing your own portfolio of clients from companies that are already on the database and have worked with the firm in the past or new clients you have decided to target and develop yourself.
The ideal candidate, you will be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with between 18 months and 5 years’ experience. This experience will be gained from a previous recruitment role or from any other sales or commercial position. You do not need Risk experience, but you will be someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who can self -motivate. This client does not work to rigid KPIS, instead they trust you to get on with the job. You will work well as part of a team but also have the ability to manage your own workload. You will be money motivated, ambitious and hungry to get to that next level.

Their pay scales are incredibly generous with Recruitment Consultants earning £30k base and OTE of £50k. Senior Recruitment Consultants will earn a £60k base and an OTE of c£90k. Promotion is meritocratic, and once you have billed £180k you will be promoted to Senior Consultant. You are also eligible for profit share once you are a Senior Recruitment Consultant and are guaranteed to take home between £80k and £90k.
