I’m recruiting a Talent Acquisition Lead.
My client is a heavily backed start-up in the blockchain space working with the technology that underpins Bitcoin. They are developing a technology which will allow banks to settle transactions themselves. They already have a 20 or so banks signed up on the project and rapidly increasing the levels of interests from others.
There are 25 people in the business at present and want to more than double this figure in the next 18 months to adhere to their target rate of growth.
This person is going to be hiring Blockchain engineers, and to my knowledge these guys are likes hen’s teeth; incredibly expensive and will be so well looked after by other firms that they are hard to prise out. Other hires will be made up of software engineers, systems architecture people, infrastructure engineers and the like. This is a technology company that requires highly skilled technologists to implement their product into banks for them to succeed. Therefore, the Talent Acquisition Manager role is so critical to their plans – without it – the business would be nothing.
